Well my surgery will be at 10:30 on Monday. I have to be there an hour early, the surgery takes anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. Then a couple hours recovery from the anesthesia... Well my surgery is scheduled for Monday August 31st. It's actually a quick outpatient procedure, taking about an hour. They'll just be removing the herniated tissue from the disc, but they are leaving the disc in. This is not fusion. I'd say this is the first book that had huge differences from the movie. All the other ones did too mind you, but not nearly as important as the ones in this book. It definitely was weird seeing The Doctor as a bad guy though...
