These are all replacements for HD DVD's that I already have. In most cases they are exactly alike. Some have upgrades, and some the HD DVD is still the better disc. It's still kinda cool to get so many BD's all at once.

Why did you replace the HD-DVDs? Why not just watch them on your player?

While I have spare players, getting additional, or new variations (think laptop drive, in car, etc) will be difficult or impossible. And with Warner Bros. Red2Blu program, $5 each was the best way to do it. So just to be more prepared for the future... (I'm sure we'll have a new physical media format in 5 years...)

Sure, or if you want to borrow it, you'll have no problems playing it, unlike my HD DVD version. ;)
